Dear President Obama, please do not forget your commitment to resolving the horrible attrocities that the majority of people in Darfur in the Sudan are STILL facing. The Sudanese government need your ´gentle persuasion´ and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton´s push of ´smart diplomacy´. This situation and serious, children are dying every day, women are being beaten and raped every day, innocent civilians (especially men) are being captured, tortured and killed every day. Please remember what you promised to do, as President of the United States. Thank you

Iran

Fabian

To the President/Premier of: United States

Country of Residence: India
Country of Citizenship: India

Dear President, It is high time you seriously reviewed your policy on Iran. Either Iran is seriously pursuing the bomb-making capability or not. If it is, the best way to prevent it from reaching its goal is to flood it with IAEA inspectors. Agreeing to enrichment up to industrial grade is a small price to pay. Sanctions will not work. You know that petrol is going to Iran from Iraq and you know who all are making money. Russia, and even more so,China are not with you. They do support resolutions after watering them down. You could have avoided getting into this mess by doing something simple: When you began your term you could have released the money ,about 18 billion$, belonging to Iran in your banks. Ahmedinejad would not have been re-elected. You are his biggest political asset. How ridiculous! Was in Indian Embassy in Iran in 1976-79. My own Country

Carlos

To the President/Premier of: Mexico

Country of Residence: Mexico

Extreme danger ahead for the U.S. is Mexco is not stabilized very soon, politically, socially, and economically. Corruption at all levels of government, politicians are guarding and helpinf the "Narcos" in exchange for huge sums of money. Mexico is about to explode and has become a failed government, as many international agencies know. Please warn the U.S. State Dept. about the inminent dangers. Thank you, Carlos.

Dreams for a better world

Marguerite Keenan

To the President/Premier of: United States

Country of Residence: United Arab Emirates
Country of Citizenship: United Kingdom

As a working class Scot I have always always resonated with the struggle of black Americans - All my life my mentors have been black; Martin Luther King; Nelson Mandela; Ghandi - I suppose because it´s difficult for a working class person in this world to have leaders or mentors - they go down in the ´annals of history´ for individual work in the community and impacting on peoples lives on a day-to-day basis. So - for me - the black struggle represents one which I feel I can relate to. For this reason seeing a Black American President has been a life-long dream - and so I celebrate... For me I believe the American Dream is one which needs to change - to see itself as a role model for the future... Looking from a distance it seems easy - reduction of arms production; sharing of resources; growth in alternative energy; reduction of poverty , greed and abuse of women in society; access to education... How do you carry the weight and burden of these goals and carrying forward the targets required to produce results...I can observe the impact these have on world leaders...the strain of it on a small group of people living in the world of politics... My answer - Find people who are experts in the world of ´compassionate thought´; multidimensional, creative and six-sensory thinkers - who can bring into the world of politics a view which is sorely needed in the world at war... The sixth sense (Intuition) is used by those who struggle for others in communities all over the world; people who come ´from the heart´... So for me - working from ´the bottom up´ rather from ´the top down´ needs to be a strategy for the future... Power is only useful if shared - they say ´absolute power´ corrupts... So - look to the ordinary people who support those areas where others struggle and create a different type of leader...and put the money there which will reduce crime; poverty and all that goes with it... Many vibrant, insightful, highly intelligent young people are ignoring ´mainstream´ politics - so many leaders of the future are currently being lost... Look to the children, young people and community leaders for answers and support their development with money and expertise... And heal from within... As a teacher and therapist working within mainstream society in the U.K. and from a poor background myself I know this may seem simplistic - but my experience is that when you enable one such person to grow - such a person, having the insight and understanding which struggle and hardship bring, is able to resonate and relate to others thus carrying on the ´ripples on the stream´... Such is the way of Life and such could be the way of the future - I so wish you all much Love and send all my unconditional positive regard to support you in your enterprise... Marguerite Keenan
