Nelson Mandella, First democratic South African President - he harboured no bitterness, despite being imprisoned for 27 years for his beliefs in equal rights for all South Africans.
He is the first democratically elected South African President. He was and continues to be a unifier and a bridge to peaceful co-existance of both black and white South Africans and adored all over the world.
